Kisan Vikas Patra

      Kisan Vikas Bhadra (KVP) is a post office savings scheme. It pays twice as much as you invested when it matured.

  From April 01, investors will be offered an annual interest rate of 6.9 percent. The amount you invest in Kisan Vikas Bhadra will double in 124 months (10 years and 4 months).

3. Joint A Account (maximum 3 adults)
4. Joint B Account (maximum 3 adults)
5. Minor over 10 years
6. An adult on behalf of the minor.
7. A guardian on behalf of a mentally ill person
8. Kisan Vikas Bhadra is published in passbook format. You can buy this at any post office. Appointment facility is also available
. 
9. The KVP certificate can be transferred from one person to another or from one post office to another.

11. It can be encashed 2 & 1/2 years after the date of issue of the certificate, i.e. converted into cash.
